THE CHALLENGE
‍Revenue based finance being a less known funding option for founders and c suite execs of startups in the UK, it was pivotal to quickly educate viewers on the concept, but also to showcase the benefits of revenue based finance versus the typical finance options where founders are often forced to give up equity.

THE APPROACH
With close collaboration with the local marketing team and creative team in Canada, the project was a true collaboration, moving from the traditional agency and client approach. It allowed for a deep understanding of the challenges, purpose and goals of Clearco to be achieved through leading video content.

Clearco is a revenue based finance company, providing fast growing eCommerce startups with inventory and marketing funding. In late 2021, the Clearco team had created a leading brand and Canadian unicorn in the local market in Canada, but the expanding global team needed to localise marketing content, specifically video, to speak to local audiences around the globe, with a real focus on the UK market.Β

Clearco needed a local partner to create winning video content to resonate in the local UK market. The videos were key to driving awareness of the Clearco brand, consideration of revenue based finance and ultimately drive sign ups across channels for the UK business.Β The team at K-OS was selected to provide the creative ideation and direction, execution of video and photo shoots and delivery of edits for various channels to create leading content, and fast.

⛔️ The Challenge

As well the need to create local content for a local market, to drive awareness and consideration of key personas, the Clearco team needed to find a way for local video and imagery to be created inline with the overall Clearco brand and creative direction.Β 

With a focus on reaching eCommerce founders a. cross verticals including fashion, kids and baby, jewellery, sports, home and garden and food and beverage, the team needed to find a way to show the use cases, growth and real people across campaigns to achieve cut through in a crowded and often dry funding and fintech category, using video.Β

‍

Through creative collaboration, the K-OS creative team delivered video content for the Clearco website, YouTube, paid social ads and organic social channels. A selection of formats abs video lengths suitable for all channels meant the Clearco marketing team was able to A/B test video content to measure real results.Β The videos drove awareness with an increase in views and view time across all channels. Consideration goals were also met with an increase of web visitors to the Clearco UK site in the two months following the campaigns.
